Clay pits are not noticed. They are often located away from town and even if you drive past them, you can't see them because the holes in the ground surrounded by trees are perfectly camouflaged.
At the edges, the viewer gets more of an impression of the amazing colors and shapes that unfold here. But only the view from the air gives us the full view of these easily overlooked works of art.
The images were taken as a result of the increasingly popular drone photography technology in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate.
