Sea turtles have populated our oceans for over 250 million years. They come from land or freshwater turtles, which have evolved to adapt to life under water.
Except for laying their eggs, for which they travel thousands of kilometers and are exposed to various dangers along the way, they spend their entire lives in water.
Unfortunately, the 7 species are threatened with extinction due to increasing pollution, modern fishing and other factors.
Encounters with them are unforgettable. If you ignore them, they become intrusive and want to be in the photo. Just as quickly as they appear, they disappear into the shallows of the sea.
