Maulbronn Monastery is one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries north of the Alps. Construction of the complex began in the middle of the 12th century by the Cistercians. In 1993, Maulbronn Monastery was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Today, guided tours, exhibitions and concerts are offered here. An integrated high school (from grade 11) enables young people to take their Abitur where the Protestant seminars used to be held - and still are today - and where the next generation of Protestant pastors were trained.
Today's use of the beautiful complex is rounded off by various small shops and gastronomic offerings. This breathes new life into this time-honored facility without compromising its flair. A successful combination of old and new, which is clearly expressed in the compilation of the selected photos. Let yourself be inspired!
