Trade with South America was the heyday of Cadiz in the 17th century. Merchants built magnificent palaces whose roofs were crowned with small observation towers. Today there are still around 120 of these small towers, from which one could see the richly laden ships returning. Come along on a tour of the city and let yourself be enchanted.
