Until shortly before her 50th birthday, she acted as an entrepreneur and photographer as well as a wife and mother in the way that people supposedly do from a social perspective - until her cancer diagnosis. With the diagnosis, her life first changed forcibly, then she changed her life based on a new way of thinking. Rosemarie Hofer has also been active for several years as an over 50 model, book author, author of essays and articles for various magazines and as a freelance PHOTO ART° artist with her own exhibitions at home and abroad. She originally developed the ideas for her PHOTO ART° from her own experiences during her cancer illness and recovery. The images in the exhibition “Flower Explosion PHOTO ART° by Rosemarie Hofer” are a pictorial representation of her feelings when she was able to smell and taste again for the first time after months of suffering from chemotherapy and radiation. The first time she experienced the scent of a flower again, “it was like an explosion in my head!” In her book "DULIDU - I patiently defeated cancer" she describes her journey in an impressive way and wants to help and encourage other people to build an authentic, healthy and positive life.
