The Dümmer Nature Park covers an area of approximately 1,122 square kilometers. The second largest inland body of water in Lower Saxony is the Dümmer Lake, which attracts numerous water sports enthusiasts and tourists. In addition to the variety of leisure activities, it is the wonderful nature that attracts visitors. Raised and fens that include a large bird sanctuary can be admired here. Many bird species feel at home here and raise their brood. The nature park was founded in 1972 with the aim of preserving and maintaining the landscape in the Dümmer recreation area. This calendar offers 12 impressions of the diverse landscape and its nature.
