In 1997 the traditional “Bremer Vulkan” shipyard closed. In 2004, when walking through some of the factory halls, you had the feeling that people had just finished work (Fierovend in Low German), except that no one was coming back for the next shift. Open clothes lockers, dusty sinks, factory halls full of materials - in some places it looked as if work had just been done. The factory clock had also stopped... dust and rust testify to its deterioration. A piece of Bremen shipyard history. The photos were digitally edited.
