The city of Salzgitter has had a professional fire department since May 20, 1943. What was initially a makeshift station and very sparse equipment has now become a modern, powerful professional fire department.
The photographer Markus Will impressively depicted this fire department's vehicle fleet using his very special HDR image processing technique. He thus moves on the border between photography and the impression of a painting.
The special processing of the images means that the colors and lights of the emergency vehicles are particularly effective.
