One of the photographers for the Mauritius publishing house based in Berlin in the 1930s was Karl Heinrich Lämmel. Born on July 30, 1910 in Riesa, Saxony, he has been missing since April 1945. In the 1930s, Lämmel produced many photo reports of most German cities, including Munich and Cologne. Photographs that have to be seen and admired ever since. Lämmel's images show a different Germany and provide an unprecedented and fascinating insight into everyday and working life at that time. Impressive images of old German cities and their architecture before the great destruction in World War II.
