The best place to start a visit to Szczecin is the Hakenterrasse. On one side the panorama of the city, on the opposite side the old harbor cranes.
Imposing buildings directly on the Hakenterrasse, the city museum or the voivodeship office, are among the highlights at the beginning of our discovery hike.
With the three medieval churches of St. John, St. James and St. Peter Paul, Szczecin is part of the European route of brick Gothic.
Our hike continues to parts of the former fortress, the King's Gate and the magnificent Grumbkow Palace, to the Castle of the Pomeranian Dukes.
