In Småland, Sweden, near the town of Ryd, there is this abandoned car graveyard (Swedish: Bilkyrkogården), which was opened in the first half of the last century and operated until the end of the 80s. After the operator left the site, everything in this forest and moor area remained standing and gradually united with nature. Because of its now recognized cultural and historical value, the scrapyard's existence is protected until 2050. Will the vehicles then completely disintegrate and no longer be recognizable?
