Follow us on the paths of enlightenment at the sacred 6714 m high sacred Mount Kailash in western Tibet.
On the way to the starting point we visited the monasteries at Lake Manasarovar. We let the silence of the landscape and the clear colors affect us. The view of the sublime Kailash backdrop from our tent prepared us well for the upcoming experience.
The pilgrim path around the holy mountain (called Kora) then took us together with the pilgrims past prayer stones and over the 5,636 m high Dölma La pass, which was decorated with prayer flags.
After the kora, you should not miss a visit to the ancient kingdom of Guge.
