The Moselle - Germany's second most important shipping route after the Rhine - is one of the busiest waterways in Europe.
Particularly interesting are the sections from Trier to Pünderich, known as the Middle Moselle, and the section between Pünderich and the mouth in Koblenz, the Lower Moselle or also the Terrassenmosel.
Historical buildings such as castles and palaces bear witness to the eventful history of this region over the past centuries and still have a special appeal today.
The last two sections of this river mentioned above are particularly interesting.
This calendar attempts to provide a small insight into these historically valuable buildings with professional photos.
