A photographic journey through medieval Bruges. The beautiful Flemish trading town is probably the closest place you can get to the Middle Ages today. The romantic city is almost completely preserved and with its picturesque canals it rightly deserves the title of 'Venice of the North'. The city center has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000.
Each month is a homage to the art of black and white photography, which sharpens your eye for the essence of an image: rich in contrast, perfectly formed and moving! Black and white images support the apparent drama of the moment if they are skillfully staged. The somewhat dark, timeless mood that these images convey stands out pleasantly from the colorful, well-known postcard motifs.
