Fascinated by the many photogenic views of his adopted home of Munich, the photographer Christoph Höfer has tried to give the special and unique nature of the classic view more space and form: be it through long exposures or through a special lighting situation, which is specifically created through close observation and frequent return a place could be captured.

This is how this photo calendar was finally created, which shows a well-known but never-before-seen picture of Munich every month.

The images were taken with Nikon cameras and lenses; the RAW files were developed using Capture NX2 and only slightly edited in order to preserve the unique light at the time of capture as unadulterated as possible for the viewer.

Christoph Höfer, born in Cologne in 1959, studied geography from 1983 to 1990, has worked in advertising since 1994, and has been passionate about city and nature photography for over 25 years
