Beutiful photographs of holy sites in southern France associated with Mary Magdalene. (Monthly calendar, 14 pages)
Award-winning photographer, Chris Hellier, visits holy sites in southern France associated with Mary Magdalene, one of Jesus's loyal followers and witness to his crucifixion. According to local tradition Magdalene travelled across the Mediterranean, with Mary Salome and Mary of Clopas, in a wooden boat and landed at Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. Magdalene then travelled through Provence where she lived her later years as a recluse in a cave on the sacred mountain of Sainte-Baume.
