Black Forest idyll from the snack board to the roaring deer to delight many tourists. I am of the opinion that Black Forest can also be unconventional, cheeky, non-conformist, humorous, lively and ironic :) For this reason, I am presenting my art series »Grätige Bolle«® here.
This series was more accidental than planned: Since I occasionally left my wife a lovely greeting “from the wrist” in the form of a caricature on paper, she said a few months ago “Why not include comic elements in your painting!” When Then my gallery owner urgently needed a special picture in portrait format, so I hastily and somewhat "bracedly" formulated a spartan, naive stick figure, not entirely without self-irony, because representational things hadn't been my thing up to that point.

After a short time I fell into a kind of regression - similar to my intuitive painting - as a child painting to myself and it felt damn good to be able to paint freely again without any restrictions ;)
My mood brightened noticeably when the first “Grätie” cheekily looked at me from the screen. His expression and body language radiated a dynamism and energy that I couldn't escape.
At that moment I felt that this was more than just trivial torture with a brush, rather my old toy box opened up inside me and more "bolles" emerged - one "grier" than the last :)
As a "monument" for bad-tempered moments, he launched the art series "Grätige Bolle" * (Swabian/Baden for "bad-tempered contemporary") and registered it as a brand label. An elegant cherry red translucent acrylic glass frame elegantly rounds off each original motif (can be found at: www.graetigebolle.de).

High quality calendar with 12 beautiful images. We care about our environment. We therefore only use FSC-certified papers from responsible forestry. We avoid overproduction and therefore significant amounts of waste because we produce as needed in individual production in Germany (Made in Germany).
