Bad Hersfeld not only offers Germany's oldest folk festival with the Lullus Festival in autumn, but can also boast the Bad Hersfeld Festival in the venerable monastery ruins, especially in summer.
Festival photographer Steffen Sennewald has combed through his archive with a view to Hessentag 2019 in Bad Hersfeld and selected thirteen unique motifs from Bad Hersfeld.
Anyone who knows Bad Hersfeld has probably strolled past these motifs and seen them, but not in the way Steffen Sennewald portrayed them.
