Houses in timber-frame construction with clay plaster have been built for hundreds of years and are characteristic of the North Hesse region. Both the Franconian half-timbered house and the Lower Saxon half-timbered house can be found here. In addition to lovingly restored half-timbered residential buildings, the photo calendar also shows weathered structures and simple barn constructions from Melsungen, Zierenberg, Fritzlar, Naumburg, Wolfhagen, Immenhausen, Gudensberg and Grebenstein, among others.
