The Côte des Granit Rose is the northernmost part of Brittany. The core area is in the Trégor between Ploumanac'h with the famous Men-Ruz lighthouse (Breton for "red stone") and Trébeurden. However, strong red rocks can also be found further east to the Île de Bréhat. Over the course of millions of years, boulders have emerged with the most bizarre shapes, some of which are reminiscent of heads or objects. A number of these rocks have names like "Le Dé" (the cube), "La Palette du Peintre" (the painter's palette) or "La Sorcière (the witch). And of course there are also a lot of islands on this part of the coast are, some lighthouses.
