Not far from Rostock, Graal-Müritz is located on the Mecklenburg beach of the Baltic Sea. A magnificent pier and a kilometer-long sandy beach with beach chairs offer endless photo opportunities. Accompany the photographer Christoph Höfer there with this magnificent photo calendar and let yourself be enchanted by the different lighting moods of this quiet holiday region.

The images were taken with Nikon D700 and D600, mostly using Nikon zooms. The RAW files were developed using CNX2 and only slightly processed in order to preserve the unique light at the time of recording as unadulterated as possible for the viewer.

Christoph Höfer, born in Cologne in 1959, studied geography from 1983 to 1990, has worked in advertising since 1994, and has been passionate about city and nature photography for over 25 years
