Break dancing is a dance form originally danced on the street, invented by African-American youth in Manhattan and the southern Bronx in New York in the early 1970s. Dancing to pop, funk or hip-hop.
The photographer and digital artist Dirk Meutzner took on this topic and projected the dancers into fantastically abstract worlds. The result is this uniquely wonderful calendar. The editorial team has selected this calendar for the CALVENDO Gold Edition.
